Saucy Meal Queen Review: Splitsville Bowling Alley, Disney Springs

When you think of a bowling alley, gourmet food probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind—but let me tell you, Splitsville at Disney Springs is in a league of its own. This isn’t just about knocking down pins; it’s about diving into delicious food that goes far beyond your typical alley snacks. Let’s roll into the details, shall we?

The Royal Feast

🍕 Hawaiian Pizza ($20):
This is the King’s and my go-to snack at Splitsville. Huge, flavorful, and absolutely divine! The house-made crust, tangy BBQ sauce, and fresh pineapple topped with Canadian bacon and cilantro—oh, it’s a saucy masterpiece. Perfectly cooked and satisfying every single time.

🍕 Freestyle Pizza:
Max, our Saucy Prince, couldn’t decide, so he went half ham, half chicken. Because why not? At Splitsville, you can go rogue and customize your pizza dreams, and the Prince approves.

🍟 Cone of Fries ($12):
I have never seen such a mountain of fries in my life! Crinkle-cut, lightly seasoned, and served with a creamy chive dip, these were crispy, golden perfection. Great for sharing—or not, if you’re feeling selfish like I was.

🍣 California Roll ($14):
Yes, sushi at a bowling alley sounds odd, but trust me on this. The portion was massive, and every bite was fresh and flavorful. Sorry, no pics this time—hunger got the better of me!

🥡 Chicken Fried Rice ($26):
Here’s the only miss of the night. While the pan-roasted chicken, veggies, and sushi rice sounded promising, it arrived dry and uninspired. I’m sorry, but it was drier than a desert in July.

Drinks and Royal Sips

Now, onto the drinks. They’re not the highlight here, but they do the job.

  • Wine ($9 a cup): Served in a plastic cup if you’re dining outside, which is never a great sign for us wine enthusiasts. At least it’s budget-friendly.
  • Frozen Cocktails: The Miami Vice (a dreamy mix of strawberry daiquiri and piña colada) is my summer staple, while the King prefers the Big Wave Dave. Heads up, though—order an extra shot of vodka unless you enjoy a mocktail masquerading as a cocktail. Feeling adventurous? Mix and match for a custom creation.
  • Heineken & Water: The King sticks to his Heineken, and the Prince keeps hydrated with water, having declared the apple juice here “too sweet” for his royal palate.

Ambiance & Entertainment

Splitsville offers more than just food and bowling:

  • Bowling & Pool: You can walk in for bowling, but expect a wait of up to two-four hours. Alternatively, book a pool table for an hour at $14–$16—a great option while waiting.
  • Live Music: Outside, they’ve got live music, which adds a fun vibe. But here’s a tip—if you’re seated near the stage, prepare for a headache. Aim for a table at the back for a more enjoyable social experience.

🎳 Saucy Verdict: 8/10

Splitsville is proof that bowling alley food doesn’t have to be basic. From the epic pizzas to the surprisingly fresh sushi, the food here is a step above. Sure, the drinks could use a little refinement (plastic wine cups, really?), and the fried rice was a miss, but overall, it’s a solid dining experience for a casual day out.

Whether you’re here to bowl, shoot pool, or just enjoy some live music with great food, Splitsville earns its spot as a Disney Springs favorite. We’ll be back for more pizza, fries, and sushi—perhaps every Friday night!
